1. Search for Dark Matter in the Upgraded High Luminosity LHC at CERN : Sensitivity of ATLAS phase II upgrade to dark matter production
Master-uppsats, Linköpings universitet/Institutionen för fysik, kemi och biologi; Linköpings universitet/Tekniska högskolanSammanfattning : The LHC at CERN is now undergoing a set of upgrades to increase the center of mass energy for the colliding particles to be able to explore new physical processes. The focus of this thesis lies on the so called phase II upgrade which will preliminarily be completed in 2023. LÄS MER
2. Indexeffekten : En studie gjord på Nasdaq OMXS30 och OMXH25
Magister-uppsats, Linnéuniversitetet/Institutionen för ekonomistyrning och logistik (ELO)Sammanfattning : Abstract Master thesis in Business Administration, School of Business and Economics at Linneaus University Authors: Patrik Larsson and Pontus Gislén Supervisor: Håkan Locking Examiner: Sven-Olof Collin Title: The index effect- a study on Nasdaq OMXS30 and OMXH25 Introduction: A significant part of the financial literature is based on the Efficient Market Hypothesis which assumes that prices in the market reflects all available information. Anomalies, such as the index effect, indicate weaknesses in this theory as it has been proved that it is possible to outperform the market using public information. LÄS MER
3. Covering the sphere with noncontextuality inequalities
Kandidat-uppsats, Matematik och tillämpad matematik; Tekniska högskolanSammanfattning : In this Bachelor’s thesis the following question is answered: Does the inequality posed in the article Klyachko et al [2008] cover the real part of the Bloch surface of a 3D quantum system when used as in Kochen and Specker [1967]? The Klyachko inequality relies on using five measurements to show contextuality of a subset of states on the real part of the Bloch surface. These can now be used in several configurations as present in the Kochen-Specker contextuality proof, by simply rotating the measurements. LÄS MER
