16. Some thirty inches from my nose
Master-uppsats, TextilSammanfattning : This essay is written in order to better understand the relationship between the air around body (bubbles) and the external environment. Bubbles are explored as a mixture of feelings, emotions, imagination and thoughts, which we carry with us and which are formed by our perception of our environments. LÄS MER
17. Indicators for Bubble Formation in Housing Markets
Master-uppsats, KTH/Fastigheter och byggandeSammanfattning : It widely is assumed that property markets can be predicted and to be able to make forecasts, concerning future housing prices, a number of different indicators are used. But if it possible to know the future today, why do we still experience bubbles in housing markets? To answer this question the reliability of four of the most commonly used indicators were tested for the time period between 2000 and 2010. LÄS MER
18. CO2 leakage in a Geological Carbon Sequestration system: Scenario development and analysis.
Master-uppsats, KTH/VattendragsteknikSammanfattning : The aim of this project was to study the leakage of CO2 in a Geological Carbon Sequestration (GCS) system. To define the GCS system, a tool that is known as an FEP database was used. FEPs are the features, processes and events that develop scenarios for the goal of the study. Combinations of these FEPs can produce thousands of scenarios. LÄS MER
19. Constraining Crustal Volatile Release in Magmatic Conduits by Synchrotron X-ray μ-CT
Master-uppsats, BerggrundsgeologiSammanfattning : Magma-crust interaction in magma reservoirs and conduits is a crucial process during magma evolution and ascent. This interaction is recorded by crustal xenoliths that frequently show partial melting, inflation and disintegration textures. LÄS MER
20. Disintegration and Devolatilisation of Sandstone Xenolith in Magmatic Conduits: an Experimental Approach
Kandidat-uppsats, BerggrundsgeologiSammanfattning : Xenoliths preserve evidence of magma-crust interactions in magmatic reservoirs and conduits. They reveal processes of partial melting of country rock, and disintegration into magma. Widespread evidence for frothy xenoliths in volcanic deposits exists, and these evidently indicate processes of gas liberation, bubble nucleation and bubble growth. LÄS MER
