  1. 1. Multibody modelling of the vibrations in an aircraft engine

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Lättkonstruktioner, marina system, flyg- och rymdteknik, rörelsemekanik

    Författare :Charly Mollet; [2022]
    Nyckelord :Vibrations; Multibody Modelling; Rolling Bearings; Rotor Dynamics; Reduction Processes; Vibrationer; multikroppsmodellering; rullingslager; rotordynamik; reducktionsprocesser;

    Sammanfattning : During the assembly of aircraft engines, some clearance is left in the rolling bearings mainly to reduce friction. However this clearance might allow the rolling element to vibrate during flight. Indeed, unwanted vibrations called non-synchronous vibrations (NSV) appear on the data recorded by the sensors on some development engines. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Use of Simulation Optimization for Clearance of Flight Control Laws

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på grundnivå, Institutionen för systemteknik

    Författare :Kristin Fredman; Anna Freiholtz; [2006]
    Nyckelord :flight clearance; optimization; simulation; Multilevel Coordinate Search; Nelder-Mead; parameter uncertainties;

    Sammanfattning : Before a new flight control system is released for flight, a huge number of simulations are evaluated to find weaknesses of the system. This process is called flight clearance. Flight clearance is a very important but time consuming process. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Using Linear Fractional Transformations for Clearance of Flight Control Laws

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på grundnivå, Institutionen för systemteknik

    Författare :Jörgen Hansson; [2003]
    Nyckelord :Reglerteknik; Linear Fractional Transformation; LFT; Structured Singular Value; SSV; Linear Matrix Inequality; LMI; µ-analysis; Lyapunov function; Flight Clearance; Stability Margin; Reglerteknik;

    Sammanfattning : Flight Control Systems are often designed in linearization points over a flight envelope and it must be proven to clearance authorities that the system works for different parameter variations and failures all over this envelope. In this thesis µ-analysis is tried as a complement for linear analysis in the frequency plane. LÄS MER
