17. Numerical hydraulic modeling of urban waste water collecting systems : Working Project at Chazelles-sur-Lyon, France
Master-uppsats, KTH/VattendragsteknikSammanfattning : Urban waste water collecting systems are designed to convey domestic, industrial and storm water. When sizing sewer network, heavy rainfall must be considered to provide the needed hydraulic capacity for collection. LÄS MER
18. Modeling additional waterflows in sewage systems in Sweden – An outlook on the impact of climate change.
Master-uppsats, KTH/Mark- och vattenteknikSammanfattning : This study assesses the phenomenon of additional water intruding into sewage sys-tems in different areas of Sweden. Additional water means in this case the non-foul water that can originate from storm water runoff, which is either supposed to be con-veyed into the pipe system or intrudes it by wrongly connected drains. 19. Groundwater Recharge in Jakkur Lake : Possibilities and Risks of Sewage Water Reuse
L3-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Luft-, vatten- och landskapsläraSammanfattning : The aim of this project is to study the nitrate levels of the treated water flowing into Jakkur Lake in Bangalore, from the treatment plant situated at the inlet to the lake, and thereby evaluate the function of the lake as for secondary and tertiary wastewater treatment as well as an infiltration basin. Obtained nitrate levels are used as indicators to study the wastewater flow in the lake, and to find other possible inflows of sewage which can affect the lakes’ total treatment efficiency. LÄS MER
20. Hydrogeology and groundwater regime of the Stanford Aquifer, South Africa
