The HIBEAM experiment is part of a two-stage program at ESS which will address open questions in physics; specifically the nature of dark matter and the observed asymmetry between matter and antimatter in the Universe. In this thesis, we present our initial progress towards the development of a model-independent artificial intelligence framework designed for conducting parameter space scans in BSM scenarios. Our framework incorporates several publicly available high-energy physics packages, namely SPheno, HiggsBounds, HiggsSignals, and CosmoTransitions. LÄS MER

The study uses a constructivist framework and explores how well the students’ conceptions match the scientific facts and definitions, and what misconceptions and alternative conceptions they hold.
