Fire detector sensor nodes using Long Range (LoRa) radio communication : Branddetektorsensorer som använder Long Range (LoRa)

Sammanfattning: Fire can be fatal, burning homes and forests and its emissions can pollute the air. To prevent these types of catastrophes, it will be necessary to develop a sensor module capable of detecting and alerting humans by sending a signal via a network called The Things Network (TTN). The objective of the thesis project is to develop a wireless sensor system that can connect to a network using a LoRaWAN gateway. Then, a software program will retrieve data from the TTN and save it in a MySQL database. An alert will be sent if any data point has exceeded the maximum or minimum value. The data will be visualized by another piece of software using graphs.
