Fallstudie om släckvattenutredningar – från vilda västern mot en branschstandard

Detta är en Master-uppsats från Lunds universitet/Avdelningen för Brandteknik

Sammanfattning: A fire water runoff assessment is conducted to assess the risk of spill of contaminated fire water and if applicable, suggest measures to reduce the risk. In Sweden, there are no laws stipulating when a fire water runoff assessment needs to be done or what information an assessment should contain. Neither is there an industry practice. This could lead to the risk of environmental impact from spill of contaminated fire water being assessed differently. The aim of this study is to examine what differences there are in fire water runoff assessments. A case study was carried out and 50 fire water runoff assessments done in Sweden between 2012 and 2020 were studied. It can be concluded that there are considerable differences between fire water runoff assessments. Furthermore, from the results it could be concluded during what circumstances it is reasonable to conduct a fire water runoff assessment and what minimum level of content a fire water runoff assessment should have to adequately value the risk.
