Informationsöverföring i en industrialiserad byggprocess

Sammanfattning: Information management in construction projects is all about communicate the information, to file the document to make it available and to verify that the information is correct. Improving the information management in a project and between different projects will reduce the problems and the costs of it. To succeed with the information management the chain of information must remain unbroken from start to finish. A construction project at JM AB has been studied to gain knowledge about the problems with the information management between the designprocess and the constructionprocess. The collection of data consists of a study of available documents in the project database and interviews with the design-projectmanager and the constructionmanagers. Results from the research indicate that some of the documents were not properly executed and that the communication has failed several times. The reasons and causes have been discussed and analyzed to find some suggestions of improvements that can be done.
