Socialsekreterare med dubbla roller : En kvalitativ studie om införandet av verksamhetssystemet Combine
Sammanfattning: This study investigates the approach a medium-sized municipality in Sweden takes during the process of establishing a new operating system. The main focus of the study is the roles of the social workers in the process of change, and how they are experience their involvement. The key research questions that are subject for the study are the following: How is the organization working with the establishing of the new operating system? And How are the organization using already existing competence within the organization during the establishing process? The study has a qualitative research design that involves semi-structured interviews. The empirical material has been linked with one theoretical starting points: the human-resources perspective. The result of the study has shown a connection between the involvement of the co-workers and a positive process of change. The approach the municipality has taken when involving the social workers in the process has also shown deficiency which has affected essential parts of the process. The study concludes the importance of the interaction between the social workers and the project leading group within areas that includes education, communication and participation. The interaction has been found to both promote and inhibit the process of change.
