Sammanfattning: The aim of this study is to examine how the two nature reserves Fågelsångsdalen and Linnebjer are being maintained. Fågelsångsdalen has 16 different management areas whereas Linnebjer has 12. My observations for each of these areas took place out in the field with the help of each management plan and a map of the area. The current status of the different management areas is compared to the management plan. Any shortcomings in the management plan are presented and possible measures are proposed. Also, the content of the two management plans has been examined and whether they should be revised or not has been determined. A scale from 0-10 is used to grade how well the different areas live up to the management plan, where 0 means that the area does not live up to the management plan and 10 means that the area entirely live up to the management plan. In Fågelsångsdalen 12.3% of the nature reserves total area lies within the interval 0-2, 10% lies within 3-5, 59.2% lies within 6-8 and 18.5% lies within the interval 9-10. In Linnebjer 3.9% of the reserves total area lies within the interval 0-2, 0% lies within 3-5, 55,0% lies within 6-8 and 41.1% lies within the interval 9-10. This study comfirms that the management of Fågelsångsdalen and Linnebjer is not entirely in accordance with their management plans. Some of the management areas are better taken care of than others. Some small changes should also be done in both management plans.
