EN STUDIE OM NPM I POLICYER -En komparativstudie av Eskilstuna kommuns och Skien kommuns ledarskapspolicyer.

Sammanfattning: Stig Montin say in a study of the implementation of New Public Management (NPM) from 1997 that the subject to studie regarding NPM is the effects the leadership has on the organisations. Therefore in this essay we are looking in to the implementation of NPM in a Swedish and a Norwegian township. The purpose if the study is to see if and how NPM hade influents the policy document regarding leadership. Too our help we are going to look in to the spreading in the chosen townships, which parts of NPM are implemented in the policy documents regarding leadership and is the influences different between the chosen townships? We are doing a comparative studies with two cases. To our help we are using policy documents from Eskilstuna in Sweden and from Skien in Norway. The conclusion of the studies is that NPM has made a big influence of the policy making in both Eskilstuna and Skien and that the recommended leadership from both townships suggest the they want leaders that works from NPMs ground points regarding results and effectivity.
