Studentförsäkring, för säkrare studier

Sammanfattning: This Bachelor's thesis sets out to investigate the conditions for an income insurance policy for student aid in Sweden. Using actuarial mathematics as well as a statistical survey, the aim is to determine under which conditions such a policy would be economically viable. Results show that the actuarially fair premium is too expensive in contrast to what the respondends, of the survey report, are willing to pay. The conclusion is that this could explain why this kind of insurance policy does not currently exist on the market. However, it is hypothesized that a viable policy could be constructed since there seems to be considerable demand for it within the Swedish student body.
