Sammanfattning: This paper describe children's perception of knowledge and learning in Swedish leisure centers (fritidshem). To shed light on this subject the authors observed and interviewed children in two different leisure centers. The data has been collected using the Mosaic Approach. According to The Mosaic Approach children express themselves in a number of ways. The authors try to paint a more complete picture of the children's perspective by using several methodological pieces like photos, observations of play and interviews. The data was analyzed using Aristotle's theory on knowledge, Deweys texts on learning, and Foucault's theory of knowledge as  related to relationships has been used. The analysis shows that children mainly view leisure centers as places to have fun rather than for learning. They describe that they mainly learn how to be friends, but also practical knowledge as well as some abstract skills. In the leisure center being skilled at sports or games is of important and performing better than others, is highly valued.
