Sammanfattning: Artificial Intelligence is one of many technologies that is rapidly growing. There aremany different kinds of AI-tools, such as transcription programs that can convert anaudio or video recording to a transcripted text. One of the most familiar AI-toolsamong people are chatbots, where the idea is for a person to have conversations with achatbot and be able to get a response as if it were a person having the conversation. This has become increasingly common among various companies, where the chatbotcan provide customers with answers to common questions and do it very quickly andinformatively. Most recently, the chatbot Chat Generative Pre-trained Transformer (ChatGPT) wasreleased to the public at the end of november, 2022, which has affected society invarious ways. Users can now ask the chatbot almost anything. From how to solve different tangible problems at home, mathematical equations or to writing an assignment. It is fair to say that you can ask ChatGPT almost anything. But this has raised a lot of questions, especially academically. ChatGPT has raised concerns for Swedish universities, among them are examination forms and if students are writing their own papers or not. In this study, the aim is to gain knowledge about what Swedish university teachers think about ChatGPT and in which way that could affectthe universities. The starting point of this study has been to collect prior literature and research toconduct a qualitative research. The literature study has been the base for both the theoretical framework and the semistructured interview guide. The interviews were conducted via digital Zoom-meetings. Based on the empirical data and collected material, a result has been presented and an analysis has been made. The findings of the study showed that university teachers in Sweden can see both possibilities and concerns with the students' usage of ChatGPT in universities. Thepossibilities that were brought up were that students can understand tasks that areunclear to them and that ChatGPT can work as a handler. Another possibility that was presented was that ChatGPT can provide feedback on exercises and quiz the student. The concerns that were shown in the empirical findings included the risk of increased plagiarism, that critical thinking amongst students might decrease and that bias mightoccur.
