Automated Mounting Station - Fender Struts

Sammanfattning: This master thesis is about designing a new semi-automated mounting station with an ergonomic solution for the operator. The thesis brings up different discussions about alternative methods to select the most appropriate method for the project. The developed method used, consists of literature research, observational study, design analysis, and requirements to satisfy the needs that Lantz Teknik.The group sees that the improvements to the ergonomic part and a new approach of a semi-automated mounting process with a dedicated fixture opened new paths for Lants Teknik AB to try to make it a reality. The improvements will decrease the cycle time, lower material costs, better ergonomics for the operator, and an UpToDate manufacturing cell for the customer. This benefits Lantz Teknik AB as their aim is to deliver top-quality products that provide an excellent overall economy for both the company and the customer.
