Sammanfattning: Learning and social interaction, - Foster parents experiences of the Letterbox Club This paper focuses on education and learning for children in foster care, more specifically on the intervention Letterbox Club. The overall purpose of the study is to investigate how foster parents experience and describe how Letterbox Club influences the children’s learning, and the interaction between the children and the foster parents. This focus differs from previous studies of Letterbox Club. The data consist of eight qualitative interviews of foster home mothers who had a total of nine placed children. All study participants had been part of the Letterbox Club intervention during the fall of 2017. The interviews were analyzed using content analysis and three themes emerged: The family home as a learning environment, Letterbox Club as a learning tool and Letterbox Club as a tool for relationship.  The study concludes that the conditions for foster homes as a learning environment vary widely, depending on family constellations, habits, interests, backgrounds, etc. This can make different opportunities for using and utilizing the Letterbox Club packages. Additionally, most foster parents described how they benefited from Letterbox Club, and used it both as a learning tool and a relational tool, but there are also examples that certain content does not work for all foster parents, children and situations.
