Sammanfattning: Introduction - The construction industry has its focus on six areas that manage whathappens in the construction area. These areas are related to the construction of newbuildings and the processes that affect buildings. The goal of the study is to find outhow the use of logistics on a smaller construction site affects transport, material, andinventory management. To later see its impact on production. Method - The study has been conducted as a real-time case study. The studied projectwas in production at the time of investigation. This meant that the company could nothide its shortcomings and the authors increased their chances of discoveringimprovements. In the case study, triangulation between interviews, observations andliterature study was used to answer the questions. Results – The company had a clear plan and planned the construction logistics dailybased on various deliveries and delays and they covered materials if needed. In theinterviews, the location manager mentions the importance of efficient planning andstorage locations, while the sustainability manager emphasizes the concept of "just intime" and the awareness of logistics problems. The project manager focused onavoiding the non-value-added activities and pointed out the importance of carefulplanning and structure to improve efficiency, profitability, and safety. Analyze – Through careful pre-planning and "just in time" deliveries, the companystrives for effective project plans and cost efficiency. By fixing security measures,securing permits in densely built-up areas, and introducing traffic control measures,they strive to improve safety, profitability, and efficiency. Discussion – The study consists of observations, interviews, and literature study. In thediscussion, weaknesses and strengths are discussed with observations and interviews.Discussion is linked back with the theoretical framework, the goal, the questions, andthe delimitations.
