1. Reprocessing and Characterization of Polybenzimidazole for High-Temperature Polymer Electrolyte Membrane Fuel Cells
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Centrum för analys och syntesSammanfattning : A reprocessing method of poly(2,2’-(m-phenylene)-5,5’-bibenzimidazole) (PBI) membranes recovered from the production line of High-Temperature Polymer Electrolyte Membrane Fuel Cells (HT-PEMFC) at Blue World Technologies (BWT) has been developed in order to reduce material loss in the production. Redissolution of scrap PBI membranes in poly(phosphoric acid) (PPA) and phosphoric acid (PA) was successful and the subsequent washing procedure produced PBI that could be redissolved in N,N-dimethyl acetamide (DMAc) and suitable for solution casting of new membranes. 2. Diatoms from the late Holocene of the western Chukchi Sea, Arctic Ocean: environmental signals and palaeoceanography
Master-uppsats, Stockholms universitet/Institutionen för geologiska vetenskaperSammanfattning : The sediment Core SWERUS-L2-2-PC1 (2PC) retrieved from the Chukchi Sea, Arctic Ocean sits in an oceanographically dynamic location at the Arctic-Pacific Ocean gateway. The 8.3 m-long core was retrieved in Herald Canyon at the marginal ice zone at 57 m depth. LÄS MER
3. Improving performance of BWA alignment of short sequences with coroutines
Kandidat-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för informationsteknologiSammanfattning : For the Burrows-Wheeler Aligner (BWA), previous experimentation has shown that alignment of short sequences (reads) can benefit fromincreased instruction level parallelism (ILP) using hyperthreading. This thesis investigates and demonstrates that one can increase the performance of short read alignemnt with BWA without hyperthreading enabled, by employing coroutines in order to increase ILP. 4. Enkel intravenös administrering av trimetoprim-sulfadiazin hos neonatala föl : farmakokinetik samt känslighet hos gramnegativa bakterier från föl med septikemi
L3-uppsats, SLU/Dept. of Clinical SciencesSammanfattning : The retrospective part of this study evaluates the susceptibility patterns of bacteria isolated from blood in critically ill foals in Sweden. The most commonly obtained bacteria were Actinobacillus spp. (38 %) and Escherichia coli (27 %). LÄS MER
