  1. 1. Analysis of Mutable Game Environments Built on a Tetrahedral Mesh : Tetras, a Potential Alternative to Voxels

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Noah Tell; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Voxels; Tetrahedron; Tetrahedral Mesh; Tetrahedralization; Tessellation; Mutable Environment; Editable Terrain; Deformable Environment; Boolean Operations; Real-Time; Computer Games; Computational Geometry; Voxlar; Tetrahedror; Tetrahedralisering; Tessellering; Formbar Terräng; Booliska Operationer; Realtid; Datorspel; Beräkningsgeometri;

    Sammanfattning : Historically 3D game environments have almost always been immutable. Mutable environments are a technical challenge that will affect performance. For games of the future to continue approaching realism, mutable environments are an essential step. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Automatic Detection of Structural Deformations in Batteries from Imaging data using Machine Learning : Exploring the potential of different approaches for efficient structural deformation detection

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Maira Khan; [2023]
    Nyckelord :CT scan; electrode peaks; jelly roll; keypoints; structural deformation; traditional computer vision; deep neural network; CT-skanning; elektrodtoppar; gelérulle; nyckelpunkter; strukturell deformation; Traditionellt datorseende; djupt neuralt nätverk;

    Sammanfattning : The increasing occurrence of structural deformations in the electrodes of the jelly roll has raised quality concerns during battery manufacturing, emphasizing the need to detect them automatically with the advanced techniques. This thesis aims to explore and provide two models based on traditional computer vision (CV) and deep neural network (DNN) techniques using computed tomography (CT) scan images of jelly rolls to ensure that the product is of high quality. 3. 3. Sökande efter radiovågor från skärzonen vid svarvning

    M1-uppsats, Högskolan i Gävle/Avdelningen för industriell ekonomi, industridesign och maskinteknik

    Författare :Safdari Firoz; Woldegiorgis Yonas; [2021]
    Nyckelord :Metal cutting; Turning; Adhesive wear; Electromagnetic radiation; Acoustic emission; Skärande bearbetning; Svarvning; Adhesiv förslitning; Akustisk emission; Elektromagnetiska vågor;

    Sammanfattning : Adhesive wear occurs when small surfaces of the cutting tool due to friction are micro-welded to the chips and removed from the tool surface. A hypothesis as to whywelding occurs is that an electric potential field arises which initiates a chemical reaction and then welding of the work material and the tool takes place in the cuttingzone. 4. 4. Thermal Stability of Titanium and Niobium Stabilized Stainless Steel

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Synkrotronljusfysik; Lunds universitet/Fysiska institutionen

    Författare :Oskar Darselius Berg; [2020]
    Nyckelord :Technology and Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : This master thesis examined the microstructure after heat treatments in stainless steel, two conventional stainless steel (304 and 316) and two novel high temperature stainless steel. These stainless steels are for the use in high temperature heat exchangers for extended temperature range. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Deformation monitoring using GNSS:A study on a local network with preset displacements

    Magister-uppsats, Högskolan i Gävle/Samhällsbyggnad

    Författare :Peshawa Mohammed; [2019]
    Nyckelord :Deformation detection; processing parameters; GNSS; online post-processing;

    Sammanfattning : In the past two decades, the number of observations and the accuracy of satellite-basedgeodetic measurements like Global Navigation satellite systems (GNSS) greatly increased,providing measured values of displacements and velocities of permanent geodetic stations.Establishment of the geodetic control networks and collecting geodetic observations, indifferent epochs, are a commonly used method for detection of displacements andconsequently disaster management.
