  1. 1. Peak Load Shaving Strategies of an Office Building : A Case Study at AirSon

    Master-uppsats, Högskolan i Halmstad/Akademin för företagande, innovation och hållbarhet

    Författare :Azin Farzam; [2024]
    Nyckelord :Shifting Peak Load; Electricity Reduction; Measuring Peak Load; Electricity Efficiency; Building Management System; Electricity Consumption.;

    Sammanfattning : Introduction: The global demand for renewable energy is expected to grow annually due to rising electricity consumption and economic and regulatory incentives. Efficient consumption and management of electricity consumption can support this trend (shifting from fossil resources to renewable resources) and benefit companies economically by reducing peak loads, reducing subscription costs, and protecting companies' power systems and networks. 2. 2. Energy efficiency and fiscal incentives : A stochastic frontier analysis of Swedish manufacturing sectors 2008-2020

    Master-uppsats, Umeå universitet/Nationalekonomi

    Författare :William Blombäck; [2024]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis is a case study of the Swedish manufacturing industry in which I measure how efficiently each sector uses energy (fuel and electricity) as input goods in their production processes, and how significant the impact of Sweden’s energy tax is in regard to energy efficiency. The purpose of this is to analyze energy security and preparedness for short-term demand shocks for electricity, as many ‘mega-investments’ of industrial nature are being planned in Sweden – which are predicted to require the installed capacity of Sweden’s electricity production to almost double by 2045. 3. 3. Investigating the dynamics between the developing Nordic hydrogen market and the electricity system under uncertainty

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Energiteknik

    Författare :Timon Renzelmann; [2024]
    Nyckelord :energy modelling; energy storage; global sensitivity analysis; hydrogen; Method of Morris; Nordics; OSeMOSYS; uncertainty analysis; energimodellering; energilagring; global känslighetsanalys; vätgas; Morris-metoden; Nordiska länder; OSeMOSYS; osäkerhetsanalys;

    Sammanfattning : The potential of hydrogen as a clean energy carrier is hotly debated, but it promises to significantly contribute to a sustainable energy future. Hydrogen can replace fossil fuels in carbon-intensive industries, heavy transport and aviation, and support a renewable energysystem by acting as energy storage to balance intermittent supply. 4. 4. Integrating Waste Heat from Hydrogen Production Into District Heating

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Institutionen för energivetenskaper

    Författare :Fawzi Kayali; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Hydrogen; Electrolysis; Waste Heat Recovery; Combined Heat and Power Plant; District Heating; Simulation; Sustainable Heating Systems; Technology and Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : The aim of this research is to explore the feasibility of the integration of waste heat from electrolyzers within a Combined Heat and Power (CHP) plant and district heating (DH) network and suggest a practical setup for integration. With the escalating emphasis on the development of green hydrogen through electrolysis powered by renewable energy, a substantial amount of waste heat is generated, typically left unused. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Jämförelse mellan energilagringstekniker, samt dimensionering av batterier och vätgaslagring i off-grid system med solceller : En mjuk multikriterieanalys, samt skapandet av ett dimensioneringsverktyg som tillämpas på befintliga verksamheter

    Master-uppsats, Linköpings universitet/Energisystem

    Författare :Vendela Stenholm; Sara Sjödin; [2023]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : Elsystemet måste vara i balans mellan den el som produceras och den el som konsumeras, i varje sekund året om, för att undvika effektbrist. Risken för obalans i elsystemet ökar dock, delvis på grund av en ökad andel förnybar och intermittent elproduktion. LÄS MER
