    Sammanfattning : Ljusföroreningar är ett stort framväxande problem och då fladdermöss oftast är nattaktiva erfaras de ingå i den taxa som påverkas mest. LED-belysning blir allt vanligare i gatubelysning och utstrålar bland annat inget UV-ljus jämfört med traditionella ljuskällor som utstrålar UV-ljus och därmed förändrar insekters- och potentiellt fladdermössens beteende.     Sammanfattning : This report studies a subarctic greenhouse located in Nikkala, Sweden called Nikkala handelsträdgård. Through a visit to the greenhouse coupled with the creation of two simulation models this study investigates the differences in energy demand with water-carried and air-carried heating systems, high pressure sodium lights and Light emitting diode lights and insulation in parts of the greenhouse without a active cultivation.     Sammanfattning : In this thesis a near-infrared laser scanning confocal microscope (NIR-LSCM) is built to operate with optimal performance at 1550nm in combination with simultaneous LED light imaging at 970nm. For detection, a camera equipped with a complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) sensor and a superconducting nanowire single photon detector (SNSPD) are used for the LED part and the LSCM part, respectively.
