    Sammanfattning : We investigate the effects of power on risk-taking behavior and competitive behavior with monetary payoffs through the conduction of a laboratory experiment with a sample of 92 undergraduate students. Participants are primed into a high or low power condition and their choices pertaining to certain and uncertain outcomes in both a gain and loss domain, as well as the choice to self-select into competition, are studied.     Sammanfattning : In order to draw a conclusion of whether IPRED has reduced peer-to-peer file sharing in Sweden, this thesis uses both a regression analysis of Swedish data on file sharing and the technique of difference-in differences between file sharing in Sweden and Finland.
