    Sammanfattning : El propósito de este estudio es investigar si la crítica literaria e ideológica dirigida hacia obras anteriores de Eduardo Galeano es válida en el caso de Espejos – una historia casi universal. Analizando la elaboración intertextual y el contenido del libro se intenta responder a la crítica, que se ha concretizado en cuatro argumentos fundamentales: 1) la dificultad de valorar las fuentes de Galeano; 2) la apropiación de la voz de los nadies; 3) la invulnerabilidad del autor; y 4) el marxismo romantizado.
