    Sammanfattning : The objective of this study was to assess the potential of Hyaluronan Binding Assay (HBA) to predict freezability and fertilization capacity of dromedary camel spermatozoa, and to determine if conventional sperm quality parameters and precursor of A-Kinase Anchoring Protein 4 (proAKAP4) values correlate with HBA results. Production of reactive oxygen species, which are by-products of metabolism, increases during freezing and thawing, causing damage to sperm membranes and acrosomes as well as affecting mitochondrial activity.     Sammanfattning : Anti-Müllerskt hormon (AMH) har föreslagits som en biomarkör för spermakvalitet, eftersom hormonet produceras av sertolicellen som stödjer spermiernas utveckling.
