   Sammanfattning : The aim of my study was to estimate and compare the historic range of nine scavenging birds from North America that went jointly extinct with their mammalian megafaunal prey in the Late Pleistocene. Although the severity and timing of their co-extinction are strongly correlated, there has been little analytical support in providing estimates for the possible geographic distribution of scavenging birds prior to the extinction event. Previous crisis in Europe have led to Eurosceptical parties to adopt a negative stance towards the European Union, seemingly aligning with public opinion, However, it is unclear whether the changing of positioning for these parties occurs in both positive and a negative way, as adopting a less critical stance contradicts the political agendas of Eurosceptical parties.    Sammanfattning : This paper examines how educational outcomes in grade six are affected by gun violence that occurs in proximity to primary schools in Sweden. With geo-referenced data on gun violence over the period between 2018 and 2022, the thesis geographically matches spatial data on 1,811 shootings with national test results in mathematics and background data on 2,304 Swedish primary schools.
