1. Shifting focus from yields to food supply : an evaluation of the ‘number of people fed per hectare’ indicator at farm and national level
Master-uppsats, SLU/Department of Molecular SciencesSammanfattning : The challenge of feeding a growing global population while reducing the pressure on climate and ecosystems has gained much attention in research over the last decades. A crucial yet often overlooked aspect in research addressing this complex challenge is the efficiency of food production in meeting nutritional needs within the constraints of global cropland resources. 2. Generative AI as a Tool for Swedish Startups - A qualitative study on how Generative AI can affect Swedish startups
Master-uppsats, Göteborgs universitet/Graduate SchoolSammanfattning : In today's rapidly evolving technological landscape, startups are constantly seeking new ways to innovate and stay ahead of the competition. One promising innovation is Generative AI, which uses large datasets to generate original content such as images, music, code, or text (McKinsey & Company, 2022). LÄS MER
3. Environmental tool evaluation and databased benchmarking of sustainable packaging materials for Micvac technology
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/FörpackningslogistikSammanfattning : In recent years, microwave applications in the food products have attracted increasing attention by the food packaging industry and the consumers due to their convenience, low energy and water usage and short processing time giving them a sustainable advantage over competing technologies. In-pack pasteurization represents one of the fastest developing technologies in preparing and delivering safe and high quality ready-to-eat meals. LÄS MER
4. MANGO - Generating 2D-Magnetic Field Maps From Normal-Conducting Magnets Of Experimental Areas
Master-uppsats, KTH/FysikSammanfattning : This thesis discusses the development of MANGO, a tool created to model normal-conducting magnets which were installed in the 1970s in the experimental areas at CERN, and store their analysis. MANGO formulates an answer to two problems faced by the physicists of the Beam Department when they model a beam line: first, how to produce new magnetic field maps and, second, how to easily access existing ones? It contains a multi-use package that offers an automated process to produce magnetic field maps from finite-element models of magnets. LÄS MER
5. Implementing and comparing challengers to popular multi-objective algorithms for unit test cases generation
Kandidat-uppsats, Blekinge Tekniska Högskola/Institutionen för programvaruteknikSammanfattning : The topic of multi-objective algorithms has been researched for many years, where hundreds of multi-objective algorithms have been developed. With the field of search-based software engineering attracting use-cases, more research on which algorithms are fitting the area is still lacking. LÄS MER
