11. Conceptual Design of a Variable Air Inlet, JAS 39 Gripen
Master-uppsats, Linköpings universitet/Maskinkonstruktion; Linköpings universitet/Tekniska fakultetenSammanfattning : The JAS 39 Gripen currently has a static air inlet designed for cooling the engine bay. This inlet has been developed over the years and has consisted of several different solutions. In this master’s thesis an investigation of past and current designs has been conducted in order to develop new concepts with a variable solution. LÄS MER
12. Utökade tillämpningsmöjligheter för turbinlösning i våtpartiet hos tissuemaskiner : Konceptförslag som möjliggör tillämpning av turbinlösning för maskiner vars banbredd är bredare än 2,9 meter
Kandidat-uppsats, Karlstads universitet/Avdelningen för maskin- och materialteknikSammanfattning : AbstractThis thesis is the final part of the Innovation and Design Engineering Programme (180 ECTS credits)at the Faculty of Health, Nature and Engineering Science at Karlstad University. The extent of thisthesis is 22.5 ECTS credits and has been performed independently by Hannes Jernberg during thespring of 2013. LÄS MER
13. PIV measurments and analysis of steady in-cylinderflow in tumble plane
Master-uppsats, KTH/MekanikSammanfattning : In this thesis the flow that is generated after passage through channels and inlet valveswithin a diesel engine cylinder is examined with the means of Particle Image Velocimetry(PIV). Experiments are carried out by leing a thin laser sheet enter into the cylinder frombelow, and with short time intervals take pictures of smoke particles introduced into theair flowing through a given geometric channel shape, via inlet valves and down throughthe cylinder. 14. System analysis of a diesel engine with VGT and EGR
Uppsats för yrkesexamina på grundnivå, Institutionen för systemteknikSammanfattning : To fulfil emission requirements specified by environment demands, such as Euro 4 and Euro 5, there is a need to utilize engines based on technologies such as Variable Turbine Geometry (VGT) and Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR). A model of an engine using VGT and EGR was created by Ph.D student Johan Wahlström at Linköping University. LÄS MER
