    Sammanfattning : The objective of this thesis work is to study the connection between two Steel Concrete Structures (SCS) wall modules using embedded connection bars. The SCSs under investigation consist of two steel faceplates held together by tie bars, concrete is cast inside, and stress transmission between the concrete and the steel plates is provided by shear connectors as headed studs.     Sammanfattning : Detta arbete utreder möjligheten att säkra vattentillgången i Mönsterås kommun med hjälp av en avsaltningsanläggning för bräckvatten från östersjön. Det är högst troligt ett sådant vattenverk skulle kunna uppföras i kommunen och dessutom ge ett vatten med lägre halter av oönskade ämnen än vatten renat med konventionella metoder från yt- och grundvatten till en marginellt högre kostnad.
