   Sammanfattning : Denna uppsats syftar till att undersöka hur studie- och yrkesvägledare arbetar i spänningsfältet mellan arbetsmarknadens behov av matchning kontra individens drömmar, fria val och behov av en hållbar framtid i vägledningssamtal med vuxna sökande inom utbildningssystemet. Tidigare forskning visar att vägledare inom arbetsmarknadsverksamheter upplever rollkonflikter där de förväntas matcha sökande mot arbetsmarknaden samtidigt som de utgår från ett klientcentrerat förhållningssätt där de ser till den sökandes behov först.
