  1. 1. Fysisk aktivitet som behandlingsmetod och dess effekt på upplevd stress hos vuxna : En systematisk litteraturstudie

    Kandidat-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Fysioterapi och beteendemedicin

    Författare :Linus Persson; Thea Sjösten Andersson; [2024]
    Nyckelord :Adults; Exercise; Perceived stress; Physical activity; Review;

    Sammanfattning : Bakgrund: Stress är något som kan vara negativt för människans hälsa om det pågår under en längre tid och fysisk aktivitet kan möjligtvis verka positivt på upplevd stress. Det skulle vara av värde att kartlägga den potentiella effekten av fysisk aktivitet på upplevd stress hos vuxna för att stärka den vetenskapliga evidensbasen och därmed möjliggöra och tillhandahålla en mer preciserad tillämpning av ny kunskap inom fysioterapeutisk klinisk praxis. 2. 2. Architecture and CognitionArchitectural settings’ influence on cognitive performance in an isolated and confined environment, over time.

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Ergonomi

    Författare :Michail Magkos; [2024]
    Nyckelord :Cognitive; Ergonomics; Architecture; Working Memory; Space; Isolation;

    Sammanfattning : his thesis examines the relationship between architectural design in a space analog environment and cognitive performance. This is done through longitudinal, repeated measures, quantitative study which was conducted during a Mars analog mission, with cognitive assessments administered under different environmental conditions within the mission habitat. 3. 3. The Potential to Target Smaller Sized Baltic Herring to Decrease the Dietary Exposure - an Assessment Based on Dioxin Samples from the Southern Baltic

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Avdelningen för Teknisk vattenresurslära

    Författare :Sofie Gustafsson; [2024]
    Nyckelord :Dioxin; PCDD Fs; dl-PCBs; Herring; Baltic; Fishery; Technology and Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : PCDD/Fs and dl-PCBs, or more commonly referred to as dioxin and dioxin like substances are compounds present in our surrounding environment. As some congeners of these have been shown to be toxic, they are regulated under the Stockholm Convention. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Ecological risk assessment of pesticide use in rice farming in the Mekong Delta , Vietnam

    Magister-uppsats, Stockholms universitet/Institutionen för naturgeografi

    Författare :Bubaraye Ohiosimuan Dirikumo; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Pesticides; Ecological Risk Assessment ERA ; rice farming; Mekong Delta; PRIMET Model; Exposure Toxicity Ratio ETR ; species sensitivity distribution SSD ; predicted environmental concentrations PECs ;

    Sammanfattning : Pesticide use in rice farming is a common practice in the Mekong Delta and poses ecological risks to aquatic organisms, the environment, and human health. This study focused on the ecological risk assessment of pesticide use in rice farming using the PRIMET model as a decision support tool to evaluate the risks of pesticide exposure, ecotoxicity, and risk characterization, as well as employing the species sensitivity distribution (SSD) assessment model to calculate the potentially affected fraction (PAF) of species based on the computed predicted environmental concentrations (PECs) from PRIMET. 5. 5. Wrist Angle Estimation Using Two Wearable Inertial Measurement Units

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Medicinteknik och hälsosystem

    Författare :Arvin Razavi; [2023]
    Nyckelord :IMU wrist angle estimation; Wrist absolute angle; IMU-based human motion capture; orientation filter; Complementary filter; Kalman filter; IMU handledsvinkeluppskattning; handleds absolutvinkel; IMU-baserad mänsklig rörelsefångst; orienteringsfilter; komplementfilter; Kalman-filter;

    Sammanfattning : Hand-intensive work is closely related to the prevalence of upper body and hand/wrist work-related musculoskeletal disorders (WMSDs) in office work, manufacturing, service industries, as well as the healthcare industry. Some risk factors include vibrations, forceful exertions, heavy manual handling, repetitive motions, and prolonged nonneutral wrist postures. LÄS MER
