1. Quantum Optical Description of High-order Harmonic Generation
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Atomfysik; Lunds universitet/Fysiska institutionenSammanfattning : High-order Harmonic Generation (HHG) is a highly non-linear process in which an atom interacts with a strong laser field. The laser field lowers the atomic potential barrier allowing bound electrons to escape into the continuum through tunnel ionization, propagate, and, with some probability, recombine with the parent ion. 2. Optimization of Gammasphere Data Following the Nuclear Reaction 36Ar + 24Mg → 60Zn∗
Kandidat-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Fysiska institutionen; Lunds universitet/Partikel- och kärnfysikSammanfattning : The experiment at Argonne National Laboratory aimed to study the fusion-evaporation reaction following the collision of a high-energy particle beam of 36Ar with a stationary target of 24Mg. This paper outlines the creation and implementation of an automated re-calibration procedure for the high-purity Germanium detectors comprising the Gammasphere array used for γ-ray spectroscopy in this experiment. 3. Experimental and computational analysis of the thermal degradation and the loss of strength of engineered wood-based panels
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Avdelningen för BrandteknikSammanfattning : The current trends in the construction industry push toward materials that are more sustainable and environmentally friendlier than more traditional building materials such as concrete and steel. Timber and timber composites are one of the most popular materials on this list, due to both their mechanical strength and pleasant aesthetics. LÄS MER
4. Validation of An Iteration Free Material Model for Paperboard (NEO)
Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Lunds universitet/Hållfasthetslära; Lunds universitet/Institutionen för byggvetenskaperSammanfattning : The NEO model, developed by Lindström (2019) for paperboard, is a non-linear material model that utilizes empirically based constitutive relations with switches to mimic elastic-plastic responses. Due to the explicit definition of the constitutive relations, the NEO model does not require a constitutive equilibrium loop. LÄS MER
5. Comparing different methods of measuring particle size for pharmaceutical excipients
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Livsmedelsteknik och nutrition (master)Sammanfattning : In pharmaceutical science, particle size is one of the most fundamental parameters of materials, but different particle-sizing analysis methods lack a uniform standard for measuring irregular particle size, making it difficult to compare the accuracy and applicability of different particle-sizing analysis methods. Experiments on excipients used in pharmaceuticals are carried out in this paper by laser diffraction analysis (Malvern wet and dry), dynamic image analysis (Qicpic), and microscopic methods (Qicpic, SEM, and light microscopy) to determine the applicability and limitations of each method, as well as to clarify their advantages and disadvantages.
