2. Kostens inverkan på halten fungicidrester i kroppen : En Bayesiansk multilevelanalys
Kandidat-uppsats, Linköpings universitet/Statistik och maskininlärningSammanfattning : Today a growing number of people are transitioning to a more plant based diet. At the same time plant basedproducts often contain higher residue levels of pesticides compared to products derived from animals. Consumingmore plant based food could therefore be seen as a potential health risk. LÄS MER
4. A Search for Neonicotinoid Binding Sites in the Optic Lobes of Honeybees and Blowflies
Kandidat-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Examensarbeten i molekylärbiologiSammanfattning : Neonicotinoid insecticides are agonists to nicotinic acetylcholine receptors (nAChRs) in the brains of insects. At sub-lethal doses these chemicals cause behavioral abnormalities in several bee species, reducing overall fitness. nAChRs expressed in the optic lobes of insects bind neonicotinoids, thus may be involved in these behavioral changes. 5. Induction of plant defence and secretion of volatile compounds by Colletotrichum acutatum in leaf infection assay of woodland strawberry
Kandidat-uppsats, SLU/Dept. of Biosystems and Technology (from 130101)Sammanfattning : Consumers demand healthy food with less residues of pesticides, in addition to the global awareness of the negative impact such chemicals have caused to the environment during the last decades. Farmers and other agricultural participants are far away from completely end up the usage of pesticides but currently used practice could stepwise be improved in pest management. LÄS MER
