Sammanfattning: This essay is a descriptive discourse analysis about Amnesty International's policy of the trade with sexual services. The aim is to problematize Amnesty International's policy on ‘state obligations to respect, protect, and fulfill the human rights of sex workers. The analysis is based on two theoretical perspectives, liberal feminist and radical feminism, to examine the policy from different points of view and further evaluate different perspectives on women's rights. The methodology is a WPR-text analysis, which focuses on the problematization, what underlies the representation of the ‘problem’ and what is left unproblematic. The analysis shows that Amnesty International bases its problematization and position from a liberalfeminist perspective, which can be criticized from radicalfeminist theory. The conclusion is further that trade with sexual services can be understood in several ways depending on the assumptions and position one takes.
