Sammanfattning: Sport in Sweden is supposed to be for all. However, elderly is an underrepresented group in sport organizations. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to examine elderlies exercise habits and expectations of the Swedish sport movement. The study addressed the following questions; How do individuals 65+ view sport organizations? Which needs and wishes do individuals 65+ have when it comes to sport? What opportunities and limitations are there for individuals 65+ to participate in sport club activities? To answer these questions and the purpose of the study, a qualitative method consisting of eight semi structured interviews was used. The result of the study showed that individuals 65+ do not see sport as available or adapted to fit an older age group. The need and wants for the age group depends on individual preference and can be a limitation when it comes to designing activities. Other limitations for elderly to participate in sport were physical and psychological factors. The result showed that opportunities for elderly to participate in sport, were positive attitudes towards volunteering work for sport clubs and an openness to try a new sport. Based on the result there are some challenges that sport organizations need to consider when designing sport activities for individuals 65+
