Konceptutveckling av en automat för hälsosamma drycker

Sammanfattning: The assignment, provided by Healthydrinks, was to develop a concept on an automat that delivered healthy drinks. According to a survey many believed the choice of beverage affected the health directly or indirectly and the majority would pay extra if the drink contained the recommended daily intake of vitamins, minerals and amino acids. This indicated that there was an interest in healthy drinks. The project was initiated by identifying and clarifying the objectives with the development. It was stated that the development would focus on the usability, construction, aesthetics and sustainability. These areas were investigated through research and imageboards. Juice dispensers, coffee machines and snack vending machines were studied in terms of aesthetics, size and the placement of different components. Ideas were generated and evaluated and further developed into a final concept. It was considered to create an organic and healthy look with allusions to the beverage it delivered. The high gloss black surfaces together with the chromed frame created a clean and exclusive appearance. It differed from traditional looking beverage automats. The concept fulfilled most of the demands and aims stated in the beginning of the project and was considered to be a good start in the development of the healthy drinks automat.
