The study has been based on these four following questions: Is it mainly internal motives or external motives that form the basis for why members of a training facility choose to perform physical exercise? Is it possible to discern a connection between internal and external motives for physical exercise and what type of training the members perform (Group training sessions or training on your own)? Is it possible to discern a relation between internal and external motives for physical exercise and gender?
