  1. 1. Exact eigenstates of the Inozemtsev spin chain

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Fysik

    Författare :Simon Lentz; [2021]
    Nyckelord :Theoretical physics; Mathematical physics; quantum mechanics; many-body problems; spin chain; Inozemtsev; Calogero-Sutherland; Teoretisk fysik; Matematisk fysik; kvantmekanik; mångpartikel problem; spinnkedjor; Inozemtsev; Calogero-Sutherland;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis deals with the following question: are there more eigenfunctions, other than the already known eigenfunctions, of the spin chain with elliptic interactions known as the Inozemtsev spin chain? The Inozemtsev spin chain interpolates between two quantum integrable spin chains, theHeisenberg spin chain and the Haldane-Shastry spin chain. Therefore it is interesting to explore eigenfunctions of the Inozemtsev spin chain in greater detail. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Quantum Mechanical Propagators Related to Classical Orthogonal Polynomials

    Kandidat-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för teknikvetenskap (SCI)

    Författare :Valdemar Melin; [2021]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : A few quantum systems on the line with weighted classical orthogonal polynomials as eigenstates are studied. Explicit expressions of the propagators,i.e. the integral kernels of the time evolution operators, are derived. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Anyons in (1 + 1) dimensions and the deformed Calogero-Sutherland model

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Teoretisk fysik

    Författare :Farrokh Atai; [2011]
    Nyckelord :Key words: FQHE; Anyons; Integrable many-body system; Deformed Calogero-Sutherland model;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis deals with a conformal field theoretical treatment of abelian anyons in (1 + 1)-dimensions and their relation to the integrable Calogero-Sutherland models. We generalize previous work relating anyons to the Calogero-Sutherland model by showing that the correlation function of the anyon field operators corresponds to the eigenfunctions of the deformed Calogero-Sutherland model.
