  1. 1. Modelling the Exchange Rate: Evidence from the Impacts of Quantitative Easing in Sweden

    D-uppsats, Handelshögskolan i Stockholm/Institutionen för nationalekonomi

    Författare :Anny Eklund; Markus Sallkvist; [2024]
    Nyckelord :Quantitative easing; Exchange rate; Bayesian VAR model; Small open economy; Triangular factorisation;

    Sammanfattning : Quantitative easing, the unconventional monetary policy measure used by many central banks to combat low inflation when interest rates are at the lower bound, has shown to be an effective tool for depreciating the domestic currency. Although the exchange rate is of particular importance in a small open economy as it directly impacts inflation dynamics,trade competitiveness and plays a substantial role in shaping monetary policy, few papers have investigated how the depreciating effect of QE to the exchange rate works. 2. 2. Affective language processing. Modulations of event-related potentials amplitude by induced mood in a valence judgment task

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Allmän språkvetenskap; Lunds universitet/Masterprogram: Språk och språkvetenskap

    Författare :Ekaterina Kopaeva; [2023]
    Nyckelord :affective processing; emotion; ERP; lexico-semantic processing; mood; valence; Languages and Literatures;

    Sammanfattning : Emotional vocabulary enjoys a processing advantage, with the emotional salience of a word detected at 200 ms post-presentation or earlier, signalling selective attention to its affective properties. An individual’s affective state also impacts attention and, by extension, affects processing. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Re-imagining the World Through Popular Poetry Set in Motion by the Ultimate Signalling Officer Alan Alexander Milne

  4. 4. KARAKTERISERING AV EN PLASMABUREN SIGNALMOLEKYL SOM STIMULERAR FRISÄTTNING AV SFINGOSIN-1-FOSFAT FRÅN RÖDA BLODKROPPAR

    Kandidat-uppsats, Göteborgs universitet / Instiutionen för biologi och miljövetenskap

    Författare :Matilda Nordström; [2022-10-19]
    Nyckelord :Sphingosine-1-phosphate S1P ; Red blood cells; Plasma; Signaling molecule; LC-MC;

    Sammanfattning : Bioactive sphingolipid Sphingosine-1-phosphate (S1P) is found in blood, where it plays an important part in, for example, angiogenesis. S1P is synthesized in hepatocytes, vascular endothelium and blood cells, then transported with high-density lipoprotein (HDL) or albumin in plasma. S1P can accumulate in, and be released from red blood cells. LÄS MER

  5. 5. EFFECT OF ENDOCRINE DISRUPTING MIXTURES AND CHEMICALS ON THE OXYGEN CONSUMPTION RATE OF ZEBRAFISH LARVAE

    Master-uppsats, Göteborgs universitet / Institutionen för biologi och miljövetenskap

    Författare :Lieke van Iersel; [2022-08-08]
    Nyckelord :oxygen consumption; zebrafish larvae; respirometry; endocrine disrupting chemicals; mixture toxicity;

    Sammanfattning : Chemicals affecting the endocrine system, so called endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDC’s), have been steadily increasing in the environment over the last 40 years. EDCs are harmful chemicals since they can act through multiple endocrine pathways, contain a wide spectrum of health effects that can be very persistent and can cause effects already at a low doses.
