12. A Study on Efficient Memory Utilization in Machine Learning and Memory Intensive Systems
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Institutionen för elektro- och informationsteknikSammanfattning : As neural networks find more and more practical applications targeted for edge devices, the implementation of energy-efficient architectures is becoming very crucial. Despite the advancements in process technology, power and performance of memories remain to be a bottleneck for most computing platforms. LÄS MER
13. Bortglömda Pixlar : PIXELS
Kandidat-uppsats, Umeå universitet/Designhögskolan vid Umeå universitetSammanfattning : The smartphone has changed the act of photography by enabling users to whenever and wherever take a photo. 14. PLL for 5G mmWave
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Institutionen för elektro- och informationsteknikSammanfattning : This paper presents research and implementation of a high frequency Integer-N phase-locked loop for digital beamforming in mobile devices. Multiple topologies investigated whereof two were implemented. The transient phase noise of the PLL is -104dB/-95dB @1MHz. The output frequency range is from 8G-10G. LÄS MER
15. No good deed goes un-scripted: An Ethnographic Study on the Sustainable Smartphone Application Karma
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Institutionen för tjänstevetenskapSammanfattning : Noting a need for a closer understanding of the discrepancy between the actions that sustainable smartphone applications encourage and the actions that the users perform, this thesis explores the implications for sustainable consumption practices. This thesis takes a sociological approach to markets, focusing on three key concepts (market devices, socio-technical scripts, qualification) to answer two questions: 1) how consumer actions are promoted and enabled in the popular consumer food-waste management application Karma; and 2) how consumers translate the actions that the application promotes.
