The hypothesis of this essay was that themixed marriages and the number of marriages entered have increased throughout the whole investigation period, whileit is also expected that the Eastern Jewish group has married endogenously to a much greater extent, which has meantthat the Jewish group has not been threatened by a total assimilation.
