    Sammanfattning : This essay examines, through an utilitarian perspective, the matter of torture as an interrogational technique. Through the application of the thought experiment called the ticking time bomb scenario, this essay’s aim is to question what constitutes an extreme case where a state might legitimately apply torture to hinder an imminent threat.
