  1. 1. Performance and Wear Behavior of Ultra-Hard Cutting Tools during Machining of Titanium Alloy

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Industriell Produktion

    Författare :Rebecka Lindvall; [2018]
    Nyckelord :Metal cutting; Machining performance; Titanium machining; Ti6Al4V; α β -alloy; Tool wear; Wear mechanisms; Cost efficiency; Colding analysis; Cemented carbide; PCD; pcBN; TEM; Technology and Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : Since the 1950’s, a wide range of titanium alloys has been developed. Attractive titanium properties are the high strength-to-weight ratio, resistance towards corrosion, low thermal conductivity and low thermal expansion. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Method for determining phasedistribution and characteristic lenghts in cBN-composite materials.

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Institutionen för kemi - Ångström

    Författare :Olof Gunneriusson; [2013]
    Nyckelord :cBN; characteristic lenght; SEM; phase distribution;

    Sammanfattning : An image analysis method has been developed for Sandvik to determine phasecompositions and characteristic length of the binding phase in cubic Boron Nitride(cBN)-composites with low contents of cBN (35-75%).The method consists of taking pictures with a Scanning Electron Microscope,gathering elemental data with X-ray Diffraction (XRD) as well as Energy-dispersiveX-ray Spectroscopy (EDS) and finally using a Matlab program developed for this workto calculate phase compositions and statistical data from the characteristic length ofthe binding phase. 3. 3. FINANCING OPTIONS FOR SMALL AND MEDIUM-SIZED ENTERPRISES (SMES) : EXPLORING NON-BANK FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS AS AN ALTERNATIVE MEANS OF FINANCING

    Magister-uppsats, Blekinge Tekniska Högskola/Sektionen för management

    Författare :ESISAL-RUTH LEMUEL; [2009]
    Nyckelord :Non-Bank Financial Institutions; Financing; Small and Medium-sized Enterprises ;

    Sammanfattning : ABSTRACT BACKGROUND AND PROBLEM DISCUSSION: Small and medium-sized enterprises are observed as capable instruments to solving the critical problems of development and poverty affecting most developing countries (Kayanula and Quartey 2000; Mead and Liedholm 1998; Fischer 1995), therefore the need for their growth in Nigeria is beyond question. Amidst many other problems, gaining access to bank credits and other financial markets have been identified as a key hindrance to this growth. LÄS MER

  4. 4. The impacts of the global financial crisis on the Nigerian banking industry

    Magister-uppsats, SLU/Dept. of Economics

    Författare :Peter Jemide Ojeaga; [2009]
    Nyckelord :Banks; Consolidation; Finance; Global; System;

    Sammanfattning : This research paper examines the impacts of the global financial crisis on the Nigerian banking industry. The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) initiated the first phase of the bank consolidation in 2005, to provide a strong and reliable banking sector that would guarantee the safety of depositor’s money.
