  1. 1. Investigating the dynamics between the developing Nordic hydrogen market and the electricity system under uncertainty

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Energiteknik

    Författare :Timon Renzelmann; [2024]
    Nyckelord :energy modelling; energy storage; global sensitivity analysis; hydrogen; Method of Morris; Nordics; OSeMOSYS; uncertainty analysis; energimodellering; energilagring; global känslighetsanalys; vätgas; Morris-metoden; Nordiska länder; OSeMOSYS; osäkerhetsanalys;

    Sammanfattning : The potential of hydrogen as a clean energy carrier is hotly debated, but it promises to significantly contribute to a sustainable energy future. Hydrogen can replace fossil fuels in carbon-intensive industries, heavy transport and aviation, and support a renewable energysystem by acting as energy storage to balance intermittent supply. 2. 2. Experimental Study of Flow Fields in Moving Bed Biofilm Reactors

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Hållbar utveckling, miljövetenskap och teknik

    Författare :Shea Nee Chew; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Moving bed biofilm reactors; Biofilm carriers; Mechanical mixing; Mixer configurations; Carrier mixing; Biofilmsreaktorer med rörlig bädd; Biofilmsbärare; Mekanisk blandning; Blandarkonfigurationer; Bärarblandning;

    Sammanfattning : With the rise in global energy prices, as well as energy consumption being the largest source of greenhouse gas emissions, biofilm-based systems utilized for wastewater treatment, such as moving bed biofilm reactors (MBBRs), have grown in popularity for their lower energy consumption compared to conventional activated sludge processes. However, this technology requires large amounts of energy to constantly distribute and suspend its biofilm carrier within the reactor by either aerators or mechanical mixers. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Time-resolved x-ray diffraction study of longitudinal optical phonons in zincblende semiconductors

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Atomfysik; Lunds universitet/Fysiska institutionen

    Författare :Lassi Linnala; [2022]
    Nyckelord :femtosecond THz radiation; ultrafast x-ray diffraction; pump-probe; longitudinal optical phonons; zincblende semiconductors; anharmonic decay; density functional perturbation theory; Physics and Astronomy;

    Sammanfattning : Anharmonic decay of longitudinal optical (LO) phonons in zincblende semiconductors is not at present well characterized due to the polar and many-body nature of the problem. Femtosecond THz radiation offers a novel route to this study, as the interaction of this radiation is directly with the phonon lattice and these THz excited phonons do not have enough energy to excite electrons over the band gap. 4. 4. On-the-Modelling of a Green Hydrogen System : Electrolyzer- and Fuel Cell Modeling

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för elektroteknik

    Författare :Ludwig George; [2022]
    Nyckelord :Electrolyzer; Fuel cell; Simulink;

    Sammanfattning : With the ongoing increasing focus on the development of intermittent renewable sources, there is a clear need for energy storage solutions that can handle large fluctuations in power and store large amounts of energy. Hydrogen i seen as a candidate as a possible energy carrier for this purpose, and many hydrogen projects have been seen occurring over the world. LÄS MER

  5. 5. The dynamic process of brand negotiation in virtual brand communities in the airline industry - a case study of a full-service carrier, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines

    Master-uppsats, Göteborgs universitet/Graduate School

    Författare :Jing Rong Chang; Corina Choi Magnusson; [2021-07-01]
    Nyckelord :Brand negotiation; virtual brand communities; trust and commitment; actor-network theory; airline industry;

    Sammanfattning : The increasing application of digitalisation and the popular use of social media affect the way brands communicate with their customers. The growing significance of virtual brand communities (VBCs) such as Facebook brand fan pages has led to a change in how brands and consumers interact, thus urging researchers and marketers to look for new perspectives of management within this area.
