  1. 1. Petrography, alteration and structure of the Bronäs Zn-Pb-Ag deposits, Bergslagen, Sweden

    Master-uppsats, Luleå tekniska universitet/Institutionen för samhällsbyggnad och naturresurser

    Författare :Tom Turner; [2020]
    Nyckelord :Bronäs; Sala;

    Sammanfattning : This report aims to characterize the alteration styles and mineralization of the Zn-Pb-Ag Bronäs deposit, in the Sala area of the Bergslagen mining district, Sweden.  It presents data collected through 237m of lithological logging and subsequent lithogeochemical data, which, coupled with thin section and SEM analysis has led to the first geological descriptions of the rocks in the deposit. 2. 2. The Neoproterozoic Visingsö Group of southern Sweden : lithology, sequence stratigraphy and provenance of the Middle Formation

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Geologiska institutionen

    Författare :Viktor Ahrenstedt; [2018]
    Nyckelord :Neoproterozoic; Visingsö Group; sequence stratigraphy; provenance; lithology; Earth and Environmental Sciences;

    Sammanfattning : The depositional setting of the Neoproterozoic Visingsö Group has long been a subject of discussion. This study aims to provide additional insights into the lithological composition and provenance of the sediments and to provide a sequence stratigraphic framework in order to define the depositional setting. 3. 3. Ascertaining the lithological boundaries of the Yoldia Sea of the Baltic Sea : a geochemical approach

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Geologiska institutionen

    Författare :Sophie Reiche; [2014]
    Nyckelord :Baltic Sea; Yoldia Sea; lithological descriptions; X-ray fluorescence; biogenic silica; Earth and Environmental Sciences;

    Sammanfattning : When analyzing sedimentary sequences, results which are based solely on macroscopic observations, can lead to misleading and incomplete conclusions. Therefore these observations need to be complemented by analyses on a microscopic or atomic scale, such as through biological, chemical or physical methods. LÄS MER
