  1. 11. Analysis of Market-Based Flexibility Services- An Evaluation of Flexible Resources’ Indirect Impact on Network Congestion.

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Lunds universitet/Miljö- och energisystem

    Författare :Tobias Gunneberg; [2021]
    Nyckelord :Local flexibility markets; Demand-side flexibility; Congestion management; Load shifting; flexible resources; Technology and Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : Capacity shortages in electricity grids can impose significant costs on society due to missed investments in industry. Due to limited profit opportunities and long lead times, grid reinforcements are not a viable solution to the problem, which must therefore be prevented through efficient use of existing grid resources. 2. 12. Techno-economic Potential of Customer Flexibility : A Case Study

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Energiteknik

    Författare :Maryan Bouraleh; [2020]
    Nyckelord :district heating; demand-side management; customer flexibility; thermal inertia; virtual storage; thermal energy storage; load shifting; space heating; multi-family dwellings; demand response; fjärrvärme; efterfrågesidahantering; kundflexibilitet; termisk tröghet; virtuell lagring; v¨armeenergilagring; lastförskjutning; byggnadsuppvärmning; flerfamiljshus; demand response;

    Sammanfattning : District heating plays a major role in the Swedish energy system. It is deemed a renewable energy source and is the main provider for multi-family dwellings with 90 %. Although the district heating fuel mix consists of majority renewables, a share of 5 % is provided from fossil fuels. LÄS MER

  3. 13. Techno-economic analysis of demand flexibility from heat pumps for multi-family buildings in Sweden based on two case studies

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Energiteknik

    Författare :Hsin-Ting Ko; [2020]
    Nyckelord :Demand flexibility; Heat pump; IDA ICE; Smart grid; Thermal comfort; Thermal inertia; Bottom-up simuleringsmodell; efterfrågeflexibilitet; Demand response; energiteknologi; slutanvändarbeteende; grön byggnad; VVS-systemkontroll; värmepump; IDA ICE; smart nät; termisk komfort; termisk tröghet;

    Sammanfattning : Sweden is undergoing energy transition to become a zero-carbon economy with electricity production aims at 100% from renewable resources by 2040. Sweden also has a national goal to have fossil-free vehicle fleet by 2030. The increasing share of intermittent renewable resources creates growth in mismatches between electricity supply and demand. 4. 14. Feasibility Study of Chemical Energy Storage for an Energy Efficient Commercial Office Space

    Magister-uppsats, Högskolan i Gävle/Energisystem och byggnadsteknik

    Författare :Kerry-Leigh Maritz; [2019]
    Nyckelord :“Chemical Energy Storage”; “Commercial”; “Energy Storage”; “Load Demand Shift”; “50kW Solar System”;

    Sammanfattning : Shifting the load demand of a commercial office space to utilise off peak tariffs would lead to cost savings as power is cheaper at this time. To achieve this shift, chemical energy storage was considered using Lead Acid batteries, Lithium-ion batteries and Advance Lead Acid batteries. The output of these storage types is electricity. 5. 15. Optimering av last och produktion i Gävles fjärrvärmenät : Reducering av effekttoppar via värmelagring i byggnader

    Kandidat-uppsats, Högskolan i Gävle/Energisystem och byggnadsteknik

    Författare :Fredrik Elofsson; [2019]
    Nyckelord :District heating; load management; peak shaving; heat load reduction; thermal storage; smart energy system; Fjärrvärme; laststyrning; effekttoppar; värmelagring; smarta energisystem;

    Sammanfattning : District heating is today the most common way of providing a building with heat and hot water in Sweden. It is an environmentally friendly product mostly used with renewable fuel. However, at power peaks most companies use production units that are more expensive and worse for the environment and should therefore be avoided as much as possible. LÄS MER
