    Sammanfattning : Faba beans, Vicia faba is known as a self-pollinating crop, however significant yield increases have been found in plants visited by honeybees and bumblebees. The bees either make positive visits, entering the flower and transferring pollen between different flowers resulting in cross-pollination, or negative visits, piercing the flower to “steal” nectar or collect nectar from extrafloral nectaries.     Sammanfattning : The aim of this thesis was to investigate the secondary aerosol formation from dimethylsulfide (DMS) using the aerosol dynamics, gas- and particle-phase chemistry kinetic multi-layer model, ADCHAM. The first simulations, concerning the butanol oxidation via hydroxyl radicals (OH), were performed to characterize the UV-light source of the AURA smog chamber (Aarhus university, Denmark), later used for the DMS experiments.
