Sammanfattning: In autumn of 2022, the new curriculum for primary school, preschool and afterschool (Lgr22) was introduced. It included revising the structure and content of the curriculum for PE and health. The aim of the study was thus to research how PE teachers out in the field have adopted the new curriculum and how they feel that it has and will affect the teaching content and grading. The study is aimed at grades 7-9.The study was based on a qualitative method where six licensed PE teachers who taught during Lgr11, and continued during Lgr22, were interviewed regarding the area of interest. The result showed that the PE teachers have not/will not change their teaching content. However, they see certain risks with elements such as dance and orienteering no longer being included in the grading criteria, these elements risk getting less, or non-existent, room in education. The results showed that the teachers believed that it could potentially be easier for students to get a higher grade with the new grading system, which contains fewer grading criteria and the teacher instead has to make an overall assessment of the student's abilities.
