Detta är en Magister-uppsats från Lunds universitet/Företagsekonomiska institutionen

Sammanfattning: This study examines how four E.ON employees work with their identity in the organization and how they commit to it. The research question was “In which different ways do four E.ON employees, through identity work, identify with and commit to E.ON?”. The study has a subjective reality view and is based on critical theory, hermeneutics, and postmodernism. The study’s empirical foundation consists of semi-structured interviews with four E.ON employees. Additional secondary data relevant for the study has also been taken into consideration. Findings in this study all point in the same direction showing the four E.ON employees using different identity work processes resulting in the same outcome, a strong identification with and commitment to E.ON.
