Visionen om Öresundsregionen - Projektifiering, aktörer och visioner

Detta är en Master-uppsats från Lunds universitet/Statsvetenskapliga institutionen

Sammanfattning: The southernmost Swedish region of Scania, the Danish capital region and the Danish region of Zealand are combined into the metropolitan region of Greater Copenhagen, sometimes referred to as the Öresund region. The regional integration is following the global trend of projectification, which means that the integration is increasingly done in project form. By studying the EU cohesion programme in the region, Interreg ÖKS, this study creates a better understanding of which actors that plays the biggest role in the projectified integration of the region, and what visions that are prominent in the process. The study shows that larger actors, and actors with a greater experience of international cooperation and project work are dominating the projectified integration, and that smaller, more unexperienced actors and municipalities are more absent. It is also clear that the vision of a functional border region is significant, where growth and a continuous labour market are considered highly important factors. From a Scanian perspective, a cultural border region is also requested, but this vision is not as common on the Danish side, and hence has a minor role in the actual integration projects.
