Våld i nära relationer : -en litteraturstudie om hursocialtjänstens stödinsatser kan förstås

Sammanfattning: Domestic violence is an issue affecting many women around the Swedish society leading to it being an extensive societal problem. Statistically speaking women who seek help through Social services have increased by 38 percent. The social services in Sweden have a main responsibility in helping and providing abused women with resources to prevent them from living a life in fear and threats. There is a clear goal in the Social services which stands for providing safety and stability to the women who have been exposed to an unsafe and violent partner. There are many different forms of resources that the social service can offer abused women, this study examines different examples and how they are to be understood through different perspectives. The purpose with this report is to understand and mediate how the Social services support women exposed to domestic violence is understood from a structural perspective but also from an individual perspective, as the women who have been in contact with the Social services have shared their experiences through different research. The study starts off with presenting the Social services main goal with their work and how they through the law and development of resources work to identify and help abused women. The women have gone through different experiences with the help that the Social services offers, which doesn't always live up to their initial goals.
